アニメ デビルマン 妖鳥シレーヌ編
週刊少年マガジンに連載された永井豪の人気コミックを原作としたOVA第2弾。前作「誕生編」の続編で、その美しく官能的な戦いぶりでファンに支持された妖鳥シレーヌとの対決が描かれる。TVシリーズと違い、ストーリーは原作のエピソードに忠実に展開。宮崎駿監督のもとで演出助手をしていた飯田つとむ（現・馬之介）が監督、TVシリーズを手がけた小松一男がキャラクターデザインと作画監督を務めている。デーモンと合体し、デビルマンとして生まれ変わった不動明の前に、魔獣ジンメンが登場。その甲羅にはジンメンに食べられた明の母の顔が浮かび上がっていた。悲しみをこらえて勝利するも、さらに新たな敵・妖鳥シレーヌが出現。大きなカギ爪から繰り出される容赦ない攻撃に、デビルマンは最大のピンチを迎える。
