元泥棒の老人と介護用ロボットが織りなす交流を描いたヒューマンドラマ。元宝石泥棒で70歳のフランクは物忘れが激しくなり、心配した息子たちはそんな父親に超高性能な介護型ロボットをプレゼントする。ロボットは自立歩行や会話も可能で、雇い主の健康を管理するだけでなく、やる気を出させて生きがいを見つけさせるようにプログラムされており、おかげでフランクの体調も日々すぐれていく。当初はロボットを気に入らなかったフランクも、元気になったことで野心を取り戻し、自分の“趣味”にロボットを巻き込もうとするが……。主演は「フロスト×ニクソン」「グッドナイト＆グッドラック」の名優フランク・ランジェラ。
